Welcome to the Church Hill Rescue Squad, a dedicated volunteer emergency response organization serving the residents and visitors of Hawkins County, Tennessee, and the surrounding area.

Founded in 1962, the Church Hill Rescue Squad is committed to providing rapid, professional, and compassionate emergency rescue services. As a 100% volunteer nonprofit agency, we operate under the guidance of our command staff and board of directors.

The Church Hill Rescue Squad is committed to promoting a healthier, safer community through education, prevention, and outreach.

CPR Education

The Church Hill Rescue Squad is proud to offer a community CPR class designed to equip residents with the skills and confidence to act in a life-threatening emergency. This hands-on training covers the basics of high-quality CPR and how to respond quickly and effectively until help arrives. By providing this class, the Rescue Squad continues its commitment to protecting lives and strengthening the safety of our community.

Senior Fall Prevention

The Church Hill Rescue Squad offers a Senior Fall Prevention Program focused on helping older adults remain safe, independent, and confident in their daily activities. This program provides education on fall risks, balance and mobility awareness, and practical home safety tips to reduce preventable injuries. Through proactive outreach and community support, the Rescue Squad is committed to protecting seniors and enhancing their quality of life.

Health Screening Visits

The Church Hill Rescue Squad offers health screening visits to help community members stay informed about their well-being and identify potential health concerns early. These visits may include basic checks such as blood pressure, pulse, and general wellness assessments, provided in a friendly and supportive environment. Through this service, the Rescue Squad continues its commitment to preventive care, early intervention, and strengthening the overall health of the community.

Throughout the year, Church Hill Rescue Squad offers several programs and resources tailored to improving the overall community wellness within Hawkins County and surrounding areas.

Current Apparatus

Squad 1

Squad 1 is a 1992 International 4700 Heavy Rescue. Squad 1 is the first due on all commercial motor vehicle crashes, structural collapses, and severe technical rescues.

Squad 2

Squad 2 is a 2022 Ram 5500 Medium Rescue. Squad 2 is first due to all motor vehicle crashes excluding commercial vehicles. Squad 2 is second due to commercial motor vehicle crashes.
